Social Media Video Posts - Edney Orthodontics

I thought I'd share a social media post we completed yesterday for Steve Edney Orthodontics, with offices in Hendersonville & Columbus, NC.  We were given about 50 photographs and a request to create a slideshow presentation for social media.  Instead of creating one simple slideshow, we applied some of the basic marketing concepts to social media video posts and created a set of 4, to be released weekly.  If your looking for a broad audience, videos need to be short.  People tend to share & watch shorter videos at a far greater rate.  Even if they watch longer videos the majority of the audience disengages after the first 30 seconds.  Here is an example of one of the posts to enjoy while I go back to work on websites & video projects....Let me know we can do anything for you!

The video viewer at blogger seems a little goofy, the video can also be viewed from

Architectural Photography at Gran Bahia, Runaway Bay, Jamaica.

I've always had a lot of fun shooting architectural photography, using the landscapes around the locations to naturally frame the images. Here are a few shots from Gran Bahia I shot a few days ago. Beautiful property to walk around and capture.  I use a lot of the same elements i do when photographing nature. Time of Day, quality of light, long time exposures and strong compositions can help create dramatic images next time you want to focus on the architecture around you.

Jamaica Hummingbird Gallery

Hummingbird Garden @ 6400 ISO

On my holiday vacation i had an opportunity to visit a hummingbird garden.  Lucky enough to capture a Mango Hummingbird (top), The Doctor Bird (middle), which is Jamaica's National Bird and an unidentified hummingbird (bottom).  To capture these birds in a frozen state (or as close as i could in the dark area) I turned my ISO up to 6400 to achieve a shutter speed of 1/1600 of a second.  These are just a few shots that I've found at the beginning of the image editing.  Check back at mountainmultimedia.net to see images soon.
